What did we do
As a group throughout the entire shoot day we all used the camera application on our mobile phones so that we could take pictures and document what we were doing
This enabled us to ensure that when we started blogging in all of our CCR Tasks we would have images that correlate with what we are trying to explain to our audience members who are wanting to not only to read about the behind scenes of the making of our opening title sequence but also visually see images of the behind the scenes.
what we achieved
Although the camera application was used for filming our actual opening title sequence it provided our group with the ability to film a test shoot as well as document images to correspond with our blogging.
Another reason why the camera application on our phones was needed is because when we were doing our test shoot we didn't have any equipment. This meant that using our mobile phones was a key element in order for us to grasp an idea of how we wanted our shoot day to be laid out.
When filming the test shoot on our phones we knew that there were going to be issues. However, at the same time we knew that all of these issues would be solved when we could get our hands on the proper filming equipment on our shoot day. For example, we had no form of stability other than the technology that is integrated into our devices but even that was not enough to keep the shots stable for the tracking shots.
